History as written by specialists, features heroic figures, politicians, famous artists and scientists, and momentous events. This series , a sort of alternative history, gives a presence to the anonymous, the unknown who are our unacknowledged, silent majority. I collected 19^th and 20^th century photographs from flea markets or tag sales and xeroxed them, showing their wear and tear and making them centerpieces of these simple handmade abaca papers.
